Findia is the Travel Creators Map, a tool designed to promote travel bloggers and influencers. Thanks to the Hot Spots added to Findia’s map, Travel Creators can promote their content and reach new followers.
A Hot Spot is a specific location linked to the Creator’s content (a post, video, or blog article). Adding a single Hot Spot takes about a minute.
The most important element is the introduction link. It’s the link users receive from you immediately after clicking on the Hot Spot. Users get to know you as a Creator even before they set out on a walk or a longer trip, increasing your reach.
Why should you promote your content on Findia?
- With Findia, you can easily gain new followers worldwide.
- Findia hosts the largest number of travel influencers.
- You can highlight your content twice (two links) within a single Hot Spot.
- The app is a free advertising tool for you.
- Interested Creators are invited to collaborate on shared content.
You can add a Hot Spot through the Findia app on your phone or via the browser by logging into the app’s panel.

- Link in Bonus (optional)
- Quiz (optional)
How to add a photo?
Choose a photo from your gallery or use your camera. Then, select a portion of the photo that users will see when they click on the Hot Spot.
This photo fragment entices users to explore further.
How to add a location?
The location is automatically taken from the geolocation data in your photo. If your photo lacks geolocation, you need to fill this field manually using coordinates from Google Maps.
How to add a Spot name?
Enter the name of the Hot Spot, such as “Eiffel Tower,” or create a creative name, like “Symbol of Paris.” Remember, titles can be up to 40 characters long.
How to choose a category?
Assign your Hot Spot to one of six categories to help users find interesting locations based on their preferences. The categories are:
- Street Art – If your Hot Spot features murals, graffiti, sculptures, or even statues, this is the perfect category. Think of places with bold visuals that brighten up the streets!
- Stories – Got a place with an amazing story or history behind it? Whether it’s a historical building, a famous monument, or just a location with a cool local legend—add it here!
- Kitchen – This is for all culinary Hot Spots—restaurants, bars, food trucks, or hidden gems serving local delicacies. Anything that makes people’s taste buds happy belongs in Kitchen!
- Nature – Think outdoor lovers! Parks, lakes, forests, beaches—any place that offers a connection to nature goes here. It’s all about green spaces and fresh air!
- Urbex – For the explorers seeking adventure and a bit of mystery. Abandoned buildings, ruins, or forgotten places. Just remind visitors: explore safely, it’s at their own risk!
- Bikers – Add biker-friendly locations like viewpoints, rest stops, or popular routes for motorcyclists here!
How to add an introductory link?
Copy the link to the content you want to promote—a post, video, or blog article. This is the link users see first, helping you gain a new audience.
What else can you add to your Hot Spot? (Optional)
You can include extras for users who visit your location:
- A Bonus (fun fact) – up to 350 characters.
- An additional link in bonus to another piece of your content.
- A short quiz with up to 3 questions.
Fun facts are particularly important, as Hot Spots with unique fun facts get extra promotion. They appear in the Recommended Spots list, which is the first thing users see when opening the app. These Hot Spots may also be featured in promotional videos about the Creator.
The best part? Fun facts help users remember you better as a Creator.
Tips for writing fun facts (Bonus):
- Avoid using complex words or too many numbers (people won’t remember them).
- Don’t describe the views (users can already see them).
- Don’t write about your personal experiences.
Fun facts can be up to 350 characters long. You can also use the AI feature in the Findia app to create them.
Add a second link to promote another piece of content at the same time.
Create a quiz related to your content. Ask questions about something users can find in the materials you’ve linked. Quizzes can include up to 3 questions with 4 answers each. Every correct answer earns users points, which will soon become very useful…
How long does it take to verify a Hot Spot?
All Hot Spots are manually verified. This ensures that all required elements are correctly added. If there are any doubts, the Findia team will contact the Creator.
Verification and publication of a Hot Spot usually take one business day. Exceptions apply during times of high activity, such as record-breaking Hot Spot submissions.
